Riverview Hosts Special Council Meeting with Local Provincial Election Candidates - September 16

(RIVERVIEW, NB) - Riverview Town Council has invited local provincial candidates for Riverview and Riverview-Albert to a special Council meeting on Monday, September 16, 2024.  

This meeting is open to the public and aims to provide provincial election candidates an opportunity to present to Council and the community on their party's priorities regarding key issues impacting municipalities in New Brunswick and to hear how they plan to help foster vibrant, sustainable, and safe communities.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the upcoming special Council meeting in person at Riverview Town Hall or watch via live stream on our website.

The Town is looking forward to gaining insight into candidates’ plans surrounding the following topics as it relates to support for Riverview’s dynamic and evolving community;

• Public safety
• Social needs

These key areas align with the priorities established by the Union of Municipalities of New Brunswick and the Association francophone des municipalités du Nouveau-Brunswick.
