Fun for the Family - Sustainable Shopping that Grows with You

Riverview is known as a close-knit, family-oriented community. Residents and business owners Tyler and Elizabeth Stacey can attest to this, as Riverview has been home to them and their three children for 10 years. It is no surprise that creating a family-friendly environment at their kids consignment store, Ready, Set, Grow!, went without question.

“We really wanted to have a place where you can come shopping with your children without feeling like you need to always have a hand on them. We have created a play area where littles can pass their time while parents peruse the store. We love how inviting and warm Riverview is and wanted our business to reflect that,” says Elizabeth.

The Staceys opened Ready, Set, Grow! in April 2023, aiming to cater to the needs of growing families while promoting sustainability through the reuse of children’s clothing. They offer a platform for parents to buy and sell gently used children’s clothing, encouraging recycling and reducing waste. The Staceys foster a love for local by stocking their shelves with products made by local artisans and businesses, showcasing the talent within the Riverview community.

“Community means being able to rely on those around you for support and security and Riverview is just that. We are so fortunate to live here,” says Tyler.

Ready, Set, Grow! is committed to listening to what customers want by asking for opinions and bringing in items that people are looking for. They strive to create an open dialogue with customers on their Facebook Page to stay connected with local families’ evolving needs.

With a strong focus on community engagement and a commitment to providing an enjoyable shopping experience for parents and children alike, Ready, Set, Grow! has quickly become a beloved small business in Riverview. Stop by their Grand Opening event at their storefront, 8-620 Coverdale Road, this Saturday, July 29 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be draws for local prizes, refreshments, and a special “save the tax” discount!
