Community Block Party

Riverview summer neighbourhood gatherings are back! This year's Wards 1 & 2 Block Party is open to neighbours from Wards 3 & 4 as well due to theirs being cancelled. The more the merrier at the first ever Mega Block Party for all wards!

Bring your family and celebrate summer with friends and neighbours at your Ward Block party! Free BBQ, games, a scavenger hunt, interactive booths by community partners and a chance to win prizes. 

There will also be a mini bike rodeo! Bring your bike to complete the interactive stations and earn a bike light! Learn about hand signals, how to ride on the road, starts/stops, and more. 

You can also bike to the party with friends! Meet Town of Riverview staff to bike rise as a group, departing at precisely 5:45pm. from the Coverdale Centre (50 Runneymeade Road). Random draw prizes for participants on arrival! 

The Bike Route goes as follows: head south on Runneymeade Road and take the second exit on the roundabout towards Bridgedale Boulevard. Then, turn left on Gunningsville Boulevard, turn right on Pinewood Road, and take the first roundabout exit towards Pine Glen Road. Take a right on Berkley Drive, a left on McAllister Road, a right on Hebron Street and a final right on Ridgeway Drive where you will find Ridgeway Park. Please see the map for full details.
