Aging Well Together Seminar

Back by popular demand this fall is the Aging Well Together Seminar! Enhance your understanding of aging well this fall with the help of local non-profit, volunteer-based and/or grassroots organizations. This year, three speakers and twenty booth hosts have been selected based on what information and opportunities they provide for marginalized and/or isolated seniors.

Older Adults, Adult children and caregivers are invited to attend, and no registration required.

  • Time: 1-4:00 p.m. (doors open at 12:30)
  • Location: Riverview Coverdale Center, 50 Runneymeade Rd, Riverview, NB E1B 4M7

Agenda:

  • 12:30 p.m. - Doors open to the public
  • 1:00 p.m. - Land Acknowledgement and Speaker Introduction
  • 1:10-1:40 p.m. - Speaker: Jim Merzetti and Marie Claire Pierce with the Codiac Woodworker Guild
  • 1:40-1:55 p.m. - Booth browse and coffee or tea break
  • 1:55-2:00 p.m. - Speaker Introduction
  • 2-2:45 p.m. - Speaker: Susan Lorette, Fitness Instructor for Older Adults
  • 2:45-3:00 - Booth browse and coffee or tea break
  • 3-3:40 p.m. - Speaker: Constable Kathleen Samamé-Quintana
  • 3:40-4 p.m. - Attendees mingle amongst themselves and review booth hosts
